Garrison Girls was originally set up in April 2008 by forces wife and mother of three, Sarah Bennett Thurston. She has been joined by three directors who make up a management team which is capable of driving the charity forward to meet its goals.
Director, Clare Horne is the wife of a recently retired Army officer, and the daughter of a former officer. She is also an experienced radio journalist who currently combines being a wife and mother of three with freelancing for the BBC in London and Bristol.
Director, John Hutchings DCH, DHP, MCH, GQHP, GHR Reg, served 22 years in the British Army and is now a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, NLP & EFT Practitioner.
Director, Paul Haley MBA, BA (Hons), MCIM, FCInstM, FInstLM, FInstSMM is a business expert with over 30 years experience.
After a variety of PR and fundraising events, Garrison Girls achieved charity status in December 2010.
